A Chinese construction firm, Broad Sustainable Building, reportedly took just 19 days of construction to complete a 57 storey skyscraper. This incredible video shows how the use of prefabricated, off-site construction using state-of-the-art technology has enabled the company to build a 180,000m2 building with 800 apartments and commercial space for 4000 office workers in less than 3 weeks.

Moreover, the construction process meant the company removed the need for 15,000 truck loads of concrete needed, reducing the CO2 impact of the build. The use of fresh air heat recovery and combined cooling heating and power also means that this building reduces CO2 emissions by 80%.

How's that for speed and efficiency?!
