This last year has been almost without precedent, but here at CIB we’ve been on hand to deliver the same great service to clients new and old. From the start of the first lockdown, we helped long-standing client Alpha Heating Innovation as it continued to support heating installers and engineers across the sector.
When the pandemic hit, Alpha commissioned CIB to assist in increasing its online presence. In particular, the company wanted to reach out and communicate with heating installers and engineers across the sector who were struggling to deal with the ongoing crisis.
Especially during those first weeks of the pandemic, heating engineers and installers were often left confused about the impact that lockdown measures would have on their daily activities. Alpha wanted to provide clarity to this situation and ensure that those in the trade had access to up-to date, reliable information, which made their everyday lives easier.
As such, we worked alongside the company to create a steady stream of daily social media content across both Facebook and Twitter, as well as regular topical blog posts – two per month - that covered any major updates to legal regulations that could affect the heating trade. Likewise, we worked hard to keep abreast of the availability of support schemes and furlough provisions, as well as providing advice on how to stay safe when working in a customer’s home.
In addition, we were also able to help Alpha create a large number of product focused videos - challenging given the circumstances of lockdown. These were then used by Alpha as part of a series of online webinars, further enabling the company’s outreach to heating installers and engineers during that difficult time.
While the need to keep abreast of the ever changing news and lockdown regulations on social media has now subsided, our blog work with Alpha is ongoing, with a plan of regular content set to continue throughout 2021.
