Talentview Construction (TVC) is a new Government and sector-backed initiative that helps young people to find early career vacancies, such as traineeships, apprenticeships and graduate jobs. Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) projections suggest that the construction industry needs to recruit around 217,000 new workers by 2025 to meet demand. This figure does not include the new roles that will be required in growth areas, such as green and sustainable technology and digital construction, so the number may be much higher. It is also estimated that 500,000 workers are likely to leave the sector in the next 10-15 years as they reach retirement age.

Talentview Construction helps to provide a central place for candidates to connect with employers and find a role from the wide array of different jobs within the industry. TVC is supported by the Government, the Construction Leadership Council (CLC), universities, colleges and the wider construction industry. It is free to use for both employers and candidates as it is funded by the CITB levy. Officially launched on the 21st September, TVC has more than 900 companies signed up, offering more than 400 vacancies at the time of launch.
