Bossing it with Geocel

With a brief to create a new and exciting multi-media campaign for Geocel showcasing its best in the trade product ranges, we collaborated with four well-known trade influencers to create the BOSS IT campaign.

An impactful campaign theme – Seal it, Stick it, Fill it, Fix it, BOSS IT – was developed, to reflect the wide range of different solutions available across Geocel sub-brands such as Trade Mate, Joiner’s Mate, Painter’s Mate and THE WORKS PRO.

The next step was to put faces to the campaign. For this, we identified some popular personalities from across the different trades that Geocel targets. Once the selected influencers were on board – it was time to start the fun stuff.

Professional sealant applicator Martyn Cooper, painter, decorator and carpenter Justin Bailly and Keels Joinery’s Chris Keels and Jodie Mullen joined us for a photoshoot in Milton Keynes where we captured the key campaign footage and imagery, as well as behind the scenes footage to use on the Geocel social media pages. The brief was simple, look like you BOSS IT! And they all stepped up to the challenge brilliantly, to deliver some fantastic shots.

From this, we created teaser footage for Facebook and Instagram with silhouette images, asking followers to guess who they thought would be part of the campaign. We then did the big reveal – digital billboards featuring the faces of our campaign, which will run nationally until the end of the year. This is supported by a comprehensive trade advertising and PR campaign.
