Launching the Fernox Experience and The Ernie McDonald Training Academy

Named after Ernie McDonald, former General Manager at Fernox for over 25 years, the space showcases the company’s full product range and in-depth insight into how the products work. Created to inspire learning, innovation and collaboration across the industry, the fully interactive academy covers both residential and commercial products.

Our invited list of editors from the plumbing, heating and building mags were given an exclusive viewing of the new space, with a behind-the-scenes tour of the labs. There was also a presentation given by Fernox’s General Manager, Charles Marais, and a ribbon cutting ceremony.

It was a great insight for the CIB team too. Although we have worked with Fernox for over 20 years, the company continually innovates and there is always something new for us to learn. The team were particularly interested in the extensive testing equipment Fernox uses for quality control, with Fernox going above and beyond current industry standards.
