When Forbo Flooring Systems informed us that it was going to be collaborating with HemingwayDesign to create a new collection of floor coverings, we couldn’t have been more excited!
We knew the striking designs would grab the attention of many people within the industry, so we produced a comprehensive communications plan, which included traditional PR items, social media campaigns and the production of a video.
The new collection, which plays with a variety of patterns and shapes, places an emphasis on the floor as a surface for graphic art and geometric prints, pushing the design boundaries of flooring. As such, we thought it would be a great idea to shoot a ‘behind the scenes’ video to raise interest in the collection, prior to the launch date.
Therefore, we organised a videographer to attend the photoshoot of the collection to capture the essence of the new range and to interview Wayne Hemingway himself. Testamant to the new collection was Wayne himself commenting that “The Queen would almost certainly put it down…!"
